How to order, install and label a mailbox
To ensure that your shipments arrive safe and sound and on time, make sure that your mailbox is:
- The right size - the opening should fee able to accommodate a 230 x 330 x 20mm letter.
- Weatherproof - sturdy enough to withstand all types of conditions.
- Identifiable - correctly installed and labeled.

Before installing your mailbox, make sure to inform us via our online mailbox form and we'll coordinate the installation with you. Please inform our Customer support if a key or door code is required to access the mailbox.
When installing your mailbox, select an appropriate place for it.
- For a private house, install on the fence surrounding the house.
- For a house without a garden, install near the front door facing the street.
- For an apartment building, install in the first floor entrance hall.
- In rural areas, install in a place that is a reasonable distance from the location or residence and easily accessible by a postal worker throughout the year.
Label your mailbox correctly with key details.
- For an apartment building, include the apartment number.
- For a private house, include the street name and house number.
- In rural areas, include the farm name and mailbox owner's name.
- For a group mailbox, include your name, farm name, or company name with house or apartment number.
